Course Overview

The Tangible Things course allowed the linking of study and interpretation of museum objects to the objects in our students' everyday lives, and to explore the many ways those things relate to a wide range of academic fields.

  • A sense of the work that historians, curators, and collectors perform

  • How things that seem to belong to different disciplines actually can “talk” to one another
